Trekking to Everest   Base camp is a popular trekking route in Himalayas .Thousands of trekkers visit this beautiful region of Nepal each year .The two week trek through the Sagarmatha National park to Everest Base camp takes you to the land of Sherpa .following in the footsteps of Tenzing Norgay Sherpa and sir Edmund Hillary ,Tillman and other pioneers of the Himalayas .The Everest trek has been calling out to trekkers and climbers since the first expedition to the Nepalese side of Everest took place in  1953 the trails that climb through the foothills of  the world’s highest mountain offer some of the most spectacular scenery and challenge trekking in Nepal .The trails to Everest base camp has been extensively developed for trekking ,with well maintained trails and plenty of guest house.
                                                                        The Solukhumbu Region is homeland of Sherpa people whose reputation for their excellent skills in trekking and climbing mountain is recognized worldwide .The Buddhist monuments of  then Sherpa called Stupa Gompa ,chorten or  monasteries .mirror the towering landscape all around the Sagarmatha National park which is also rich in flora and fauna and rare species of animals such like snow leopard and Lesser panda.
To start the trek we will fly to Lukla airstrip less then an hour from Kathmandu.
The trails to Everest base camp begins Lukla first gently descending to the  Phakding village and then following the Dudh Kkoshi valley before climbing to Namche Bazzer ,a large bustling town of Sherpa people .during  the first day we will pass through a number of small villages ,encounter with  magnificent forests ,moss covered groves of  rhododendron ,water falls ,tree magnolia and giant firs. The trails ascends from Namche Bazzaar to Tengboche through meadows where the beast of burden, the yak graze .our trek will finally take us to the sandy plain of Gorak  shep here we will climb up amongst large boulders to the broad summit of Kalapather (5445m)here you will discover mountain views known to the most amazing on earth  include mt Everest Lhotse  and Nuptse as well the fantastic views of south west face of Mt Everest. from here we will trek down to Everest base camp ,at the foot of the Khumbu icefall.

  • Day 01: Pick up from kathmandu Airport and transfer to hotel
  • Day 02: Full day sightseeing in Kathmandu and preparation for trekking
  • Day 03: Kathmandu to Lukla flight and  trek to Phakding(2600 m)
  • Day 04: Phakding to Namche (3500m) 6 hours trek
  • Day 05: Acclimatization day in Namche
  • Day 06: Namche to Tengboche (3800 m) 5 hours trek
  • Day 07: Tengboche to Dingboche (4400m) 6 hours
  • Day 08: Acclimatization day in Dingboche.
  • Day 09: Trek to Lobuche (4900m), 6 hours trek
  • Day 10: Lobuche to Gorakshep and EBC and back to Gorakshep(5200 m) 8 hours trek
  • Day 11: Lobuche to kalapatther (5555m) and back to Gorakshep and descend to Lobuche
  • Day 12: Lobuche to Tenboche
  • Day 13: Tengboche to Phakding
  • Day 14: Phakding to Lukla trek
  • Day 15: Lukla to Kathmandu early morning flight
  • Day 16: Kathmandu to Airport transfer and fly back home or trip to pokhara either chitwan national park for jungle safari
    Arrive in Kathmandu and drive to hotel.
  • Day 17: Departure.
